Genevieve Stroinski Obituary

Genevieve (nee Mazurowski) Stroinski, age 90, passed away Feb. 25, 2012, at Golden Living Center Western Reserve in Kirtland.
Mrs. Stroinski was born on Sept. 10, 1921 in Buffalo, N.Y. She was the daughter of the late, Edward and Pearl Stawicki.
Mrs. Stroinski and her husband of 65 years, Edward, lived in Buffalo for 54 years before moving to Willowick in 2000.
She worked for Wildroot Corp. for seven years in Buffalo, before becoming a devoted mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, homemaker, shopper, and wife.
Mrs. Stroinski is survived by her beloved husband, Edward Stroinski; daughter, Sharon (Douglas) Buckley; grandchildren, Douglas, Ryan (fiance Cara Campanara), Corey (Jenna Brown); and her great-grandchild, Lyric. She is also survived by her brother, Richard Mast of Florida; her niece, Debbie (Steve) Sprague; and their daughters, Kristin (Greg) Ingrim and Becky (Adam) Regan and their children as well.
Funeral services will be held 7:30 p.m. Thursday, March 1, 2012, at the McMahon-Coyne-Vitantonio Funeral Home, 38001 Euclid Ave., Willoughby, where the family will receive friends from 4 to 8 p.m. Private Interment in Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery in Rittman.
