Russell King Obituary
Born Aug. 12, 1994, in Claridon Township, he had been a lifelong resident of Chardon.
Russell was a junior at Chardon High School, studying alternative energy at the Auburn Career Center.
Russell worked at Amberwood Kennels in Hartsgrove, taking care of the dogs, property, wood pile and any other job that needed done. He also worked part-time at Pinnacle Woods in Hambden Township. He had previously worked at Bass Lake Tavern, in the kitchen.
Russell was an avid outdoorsman. He loved fishing, hunting, camping, canoeing and attending and participating in tractor pulls. He especially enjoyed spending time with his family and friends.
Survivors are his parents, Russell D. and Jeannie (nee Jaite) King Sr. of Chardon; sister, Crystal (Jeff Morrison) King of Windsor Township; grandmother, Shirley (nee Frazier) King of Muskegon, Mich.; aunts and uncles, Charles and Gail Jaite of Middlefield, Christine and Timothy Fuller of Chardon, Bob and Eva Jaite of Chardon, Mary and David Pusey of Virginia, Gretchen and Dale Wedge of Chardon, Curtis Jaite of South Carolina, Evonne Jaite of Mantua, Brenda and Dale Wiley of Muskegon, Mich., Randall and Theresa Houston of Muskegon, Mich., Craig and Lori King of Muskegon, Mich., and Kris and Veronica King of Twin Lakes, Mich.; and many cousins and second cousins.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Raymond and Josephine (nee Regina) Jaite Goodwin; grandfather, Dennis King; aunt, Cindy Phillips; and cousins, Brandy King and Brian Wiley.
Funeral services will be held 10 a.m. Thursday, March 8, 2012, at The Church of St. Mary, 401 North St., Chardon. The Rev. Bill Mullet of Chardon Assembly of God Church in Chardon will officiate. Private family burial will be held at a later date.
Friends may call from 2 to 7 p.m. Wednesday at the Burr Funeral Home, 116 South St., (Route 44, 500 feet south of Route 6/Chardon Square), Chardon.

I just want to let you know I truly understand your pain. My daughter went to heaven from a illness. It is a wound that never completely heals... but it does begin to stop hurting so deeply.
I am very grateful that God helped me thru this and it is OK to be upset with him at times. This is not fair to bury your child. But if you lean on him he will give you the strength.
