Sadie Keeney Obituary
She was born Dec. 10, 2001, in Painesville.
Sadie was a second grader at Maple Elementary. Sadie could light up a room with her contagious laugh and smile. Her happiest moments were when she was being kissed by her Mom or Dad and being entertained by her amazing big brothers. She had a strong love for life, music, and her good buddy, Elmo.
Survivors are her parents, Dusty and Jamie (Arnold) Keeney of Chardon; brothers, Mitchell and Tucker; maternal grandparents, Jack and Ann Arnold of Montville; paternal grandparents, Don and Donna Keeney of Chardon; and countless loving aunts, uncles, cousins, classmates and friends.
She was preceded in death by her sister, Maiya Jean, who died June 1, 2010.
Funeral services will be held 6 p.m. Monday, May 16, 2011, at Lifehouse Church, 14030 Radcliffe Road, Leroy Township, OH 44024. Pastor Ted Tate of the Painesville Church of the Brethren will officiate.
Friends may call from 2 to 5 p.m. Sunday, May 15, 2011, at the Burr Funeral Home, 116 South Street, (Route 44, 500 feet south of Route 6/Chardon Square), Chardon.
Contributions are suggested to the Sadie and Maiya Music Memorial Fund at any Huntington Bank location.

I am so sorry for your loss and my heart just aches for you! Sadie looks so much like my Rett daughter Sierra. She is a twin also, and knowing how special twins are, I can't imagine the pain of losing both. I hope you find comfort knowing that they are both together again.

Words cannot do justice to the pain that you are going through, as Sadie is now in the loving arms of God, with her sister smiling in Heaven. My heart breaks for what you are going through, and may you be comforted by the love of God, and so many around the world who are praying for you right now. Dusty, when you once took a trip to Disney with Sadie I asked you, "Do you think she knows she's there?" and you said, "I know." I loved your words. You did know. I share your grief at Sadie's recent passing. In her short life, she brought joy to those around her, and brought her families and friends closer together. Dearest Jamie and Dusty, Mitchell and Tucker... we love you guys!
