Bonnie A. (Bryant) Benak, 56, a lifelong resident of Euclid, passed away May 24, 2011, at Hospice House in Cleveland.
She was born Sept. 28, 1954, in Euclid.
She was an avid bowler.
Mrs. Benak was the manager at B.J.'s Wholesale Club in Willoughby.
Survivors are her husband, Chuck Benak; son, Bryan Benak; daughter, Jamie Benak; grandchildren, Dominic and Brooklyn; and sisters, Sandra Muzyka and Barbara Tasker.
Funeral services 10 a.m. Saturday, May 28, 2011, at Brickman Bros. Funeral Home, 37433 Euclid Ave., Willoughby. Burial will be in Knollwood Cemetery in Mayfield Heights.
Friends may call from 1 to 3 and 5 to 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
Contributions are suggested to Hospice of the Western Reserve, 300 E. 185th St., Cleveland, OH 44119.

I just found out about Bonnie's death. I worked with Bonnie for many years at BJ's Wholesale Club where she was a Front Line Supervisor. Her smile and laugh was infectious! My condolences to all that knew and loved her. Take comfort in knowing you will see her again. May God Bless and keep you all.

Chuck, Jamie and Bryan, I am sitting here in tears...I am soooo sorry for your loss. I just spoke to Bonnie a few months back and as always she inspired me. Chuck, I just got your message late this evening or I would have come to the service. You are all in my prayers. She is still with you as I have NEVER knows anyone who believed so much in her roles as a mother and a wife, a sister and a friend. God bless you all as I know your loss is great!

God saw you getting tired and a cure was not to be so he put his arms around you and whispered come with me. With tearful eyes we watched and saw you pass away. Although we love you dearly we could not make you stay. A golden heart stopped beating, hard working hands at rest..God broke our hearts to prove to us, he only takes the best. RIP Bonnie. I know myself and others that went to Euclid Sr. High with Bonnie are all deeply move by the news of her passing. The greatest comfort I know is that she is now graceing God's home and that one day we will see her again. Loving Thoughts & Prayers are with her Family & Friends during this time.

My deepest condolences go to Mr. Benak, Bryan, Jamie, Sandra and the rest of her family and friends. You are all in my prayers. I feel very fortunate to have known such a wonderful and beautiful woman. When I was young I viewed her like a mother, my sister and I were always over. She even pepped me up to try my first roller coaster. :)
