Albert Mast Obituary

Albert J. Mast, age 93, of Montville, died Sunday morning, Aug. 12, 2012, at Burton Health Care.
He was born Aug. 7, 1919, in Huntsburg, son of Jacob M. and Mary (Miller) Mast. He married Mary Ellen Sheffel and was a lifelong resident of the area.
Albert retired from building stores for Ohio Convenient Food Mart Corporation. He also worked for Lockie Lee Dairy and Farinacci Lumber Company for several years.
His hobbies included woodworking, working around his yard, gardening and raising Arabian horses. He will be missed dearly by his friends and family.
Survivors are his son, Leslie Mast of Chester Township; and two sisters, Lizzie Ann Troyer of Parkman and Emma Sidley of Madison.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Ellen, who died March 27, 2012; parents; brother, John Mast; and two sisters, Malinda Mast and Sarah Weaver.
A celebration of life will be held 11 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 15, 2012, at Russell Funeral Service, 15670 W. High St. (Route 87), Middlefield.
Visitation will be 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. Burial will be at Montville Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Hospice of Western Reserve, 300 E. 185th St., Cleveland, OH 44119 or to the DDC Clinic, 14567 Madison Road, Middlefield, OH 44062.

He will be missed, I was his barber for years and was sorry when he lost Mary, didn't know where he was! He took great pride in his property and always was busy doing something, wonderful couple, I will miss them both. Dianne Bosse
