He was born Oct. 13, 1983, in Geneva.
Survivors are his wife, Lauren Sheppard Bollinger; daughter, Elle Bollinger; parents, James and Cindy (Thompson) Bollinger; brothers, Brenden and Jared Bollinger; maternal grandfather, George Thompson of Madison; paternal grandparents; in-laws, Steve and Phyllis Sheppard; and sister-in-law, Meg Whitlock.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Buelah Thompson.
Flowers are accepted, but contributions in his memory may be to the Georgia Fire Fighters Burn Foundation at gfbf.org.
