Gary Vidra Obituary
He was born December 13, 1950, in Warren, to Dick Vidra and Jackie Wall.
Gary proudly served his country as a combat medic in the 101st Airborne and 3/5 Air Cav, earning a Bronze Star.
Gary enjoyed Harleys, classic cars and trucks, drag racing, outdoor activities, Max and his family.
Survivors, are his loving life partner, Cindy Lang; children, Josh (Carrie) Homewood & Tiffany Homewood; grandchildren, Alex, Nathan and Isabelle Homewood; mother, Jackie; siblings, Doug Vidra, Scott (Melinda) Garvey, Karen (Perry) Fairbanks; three nieces and two nephews.
Friends will be received from 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday, June 9 at The Ritondaro Funeral Home, 126 South Street, in Chardon.
A graveside service will take place Friday, June 10 at Maple Hill Cemetery, 13480 Auburn Rd in Munson Township. Time of the service will be announced at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, Gary's family requests memorial contributions be made to the family to assist with final expenses.

My One and Only Wonderful Honey. I have shared over half my life with you through good times and bad. You are missed every second of every day. Gary is my grandchildrens' other grandfather, I know he adored them as they did him. Alex, Nathan, & Isablle enyoyed spending time with him and I know he is missed deeply by them. My sympathies to Cindy, Josh & Carrie & Tiffany and of course to my grandchildren. May he be at peace forever in God's glory.

I met Gary through his friend Steve my boyfriend. He is a very caring and kind person. And shy in some ways. I know he loved buying old parts to motorcycles and cars. It was one of his passions. Even though I haven't known him long. He will be missed.
