We did not get to meet Bill very often but when we did our shared sense of humour and his kindness and generosity gave us many happy memories.

Billy, I always remember your father from when we met for the first time. It was at Catholic catechism school in the Vox theater in Greensboro. Another time was in high school when he told the teacher that milk should be chewed because it is a food and this aided in the digestion.

Billie & Tracy,
We are so sad to hear of Uncle Bill's passing. I have very fond memories of him growing up in Greensboro and later in Eastlake. Even though we didn't see each other in recent years he always had a special spot in my heart.
Love and sympathy to you all,

Dee Warrens Hoffman
