Kris Stefanac Obituary
Born March 27, 1978, in Geauga County, Kris was a rating specialist for the Veterans Administration in Cleveland. Prior to that, she had been a children's therapist at Crossroads.
Kris was a proud graduate of Berkshire High School's Class of 1996, Lake Erie College with a bachelor's degree in early childhood psychology and a master's degree in early childhood psychology from John Carroll University.
Survivors include her husband of 12 years, Mark Stefanac; children, Claire and Drazen Stefanac; father, Peter Pirnat; mother, Sherry (Joe) Bosworth; brothers, Steve (Jennifer) Pirnat, and Brian and Matt Bosworth; father-in-law, Drago Stefanac; sister-in-law, Lana Stefanac; brothers-in-law, Joe (Jennifer) Kroll and Curtis Kroll; nieces and nephews, Thomas, Abigail and Joseph Pirnat, Bryan, Erika, Annelise and Mackayla Kroll; and great-nephew, Brady.
Kris was preceded in death by her mother-in-law, Jane Stefanac. Her grandmother, Bonnie Meyers died Tuesday, Jan. 7, 2014.
Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Monday at Brunner Sanden Deitrick Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 8466 Mentor Ave., Mentor. Interment will be in South Kirtland Cemetery in Kirtland. After the burial, family and friends are invited to Highland Heights Community Center for a dinner in honor of Kris.
The family will receive friends from 1 to 5 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to any Key Bank branch under the account "Team Kris".
