Alan Swartz Obituary

Mr. Alan Swartz, age 35, passed away Sunday morning, November 30, 2014.
He was born May 3, 1979 to Marty and Peggy Swartz, and married his soul mate Mystica Shuss in Perry Ohio on January 7, 2007.
Alan graduated from Madison High School in 1997 and pursued a trade in plumbing in which he was very accomplished. He was most proud of working hard to provide for his wife and boys. Alan was a body builder who kept a healthy and fit lifestyle. He enjoyed his yard and made sure it was well groomed. Alan loved his children, and some favorite activities were walking to Geneva High School to play a game called, "Snakes," bike riding, and sledding. His family was the light of his life.
Alan is survived by his wife, Mystica (nee Shuss); children Adler, Dieter, Madox and Jax Swartz; parents Marty and Peggy Swartz; brother Brian Swartz; nieces Alyssa, Alexandra, Ariana, and Aubrey Swartz; and in-laws Maureen Kempert and Leo Shuss; Aunt Eileen and Uncle Vince Zelenka.
He was preceded in death by his loving grandparents Joseph and Florence Lee, and Norman and Roberta Swartz.
Friends will be received 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, December 5, 2014 at The Behm Family Funeral Home, 175 South Broadway Rd, Geneva, Ohio, 44041.
Mass of Christian Burial will be 11 a.m. Saturday, December 6, 2014 at Assumption Catholic Church, 594 West Main St, Geneva, Ohio, 44041. Final resting place will be Evergreen Cemetery in Geneva.
Contributions may be made to the Alan Swartz Memorial Fund in care of Painesville Credit Union, 280 North Saint Clair Street, Painesville, Ohio, 44077.

We are so sorry for the loss of Alan. I knew your family from Assumption as I helped in Alder's class. Everyone new Al as the happy guy, he always had a smile on his face and never said anything negative. My wife and kids met him at the movie theater in mentor after a long day of work. He was so happy to be able to meet his wife and kids for a movie. He cared ALOT about being able to to things with and for his familty. Seeing Al's smiling face in the morning will be missed. Smiles are contagious and you alway put a smile on our face. Thank you for that, you will be missed.
