David Brown Obituary
He was born April 9, 1931 in Jersey City, NJ.
Mr. Brown worked as an international export manager for Diamond Shamrock for many years in New Jersey then was transferred to Cleveland, Ohio in 1977. Everyone who knew him knew he was an avid New York Giants fan. Having season tickets for years till he moved to Ohio. He served his country during the Korean War in the US Air Force. He was stationed at Sculthorpe in England where he met his wife Pam. They settled in Weehawken NJ where he used his GI Bill to graduate from St. Peters University in Jersey City. He eventually moved his family to the Jersey Shore where he has numerous friends and family.
Survivors include his wife of 62 years, Pamela Brown; children, Valerie (Darrell) Lawver, Joanne Bormida, Patrick Brown and Jonathan (Marlia) Brown; grandchildren, Jason and Andrea Badertscher, Jacqui (Cory) Moehring and Alex and Sam Brown; great grandchild Piper; and his sister Connie (Bill) Ritter.
He was preceded in death by his parents, David and Mae Brown; grandchildren, Brandon Badertscher and Jack Bormida; sisters, Ruth Brown, Virginia Dragonette and Miriam Schell; and his brother, Robert Brown.
Private family inurnment will be held at Mentor Cemetery at a later date.
In memory of David memorial contributions may be made to American Kidney Association or veteran's charity of one's choice.
