Cody Shrout Obituary

Cody D. Shrout, age 12, of Tommy Hitchcock Ave., Daytona Beach, passed away in his sleep Friday, December 12, 2008. Cody was born in Warren, Ohio and moved here with his family a couple of years ago. He was a sixth-grader at Campbell Middle School in Daytona Beach. An active boy, Cody loved sports. He always wore a smile when playing football, baseball or fishing with his grandpa. Riding bikes and helping people in the neighborhood also brought him great delight. His bright eyes and playful grin will be greatly missed. Cody is survived by his mother, AliciaBinion, Daytona Beach; his father, Corey Shrout, Warren, Ohio; his brother, Isaac Shrout, Daytona Beach, his sister, Cierra Shrout, Daytona Beach; step grandfather, Wayne Jones, Daytona Beach; maternal grandfather, Carl Binion, Warren, Ohio; paternal grandmother, Maureen Shrout, Warren, Ohio; uncle, Carl L. Binion, Warren, Ohio; and great-aunt, Christine Bare, Brookfield, Ohio. Funeral services will be held Tuesday (Dec. 23, 2008) at 12:30 at the Seventh Day Adventist Church, 401 Williamson Blvd., Daytona Beach with Pastor Bill Barrett officiating. Friends wishing to call and pay their respects may do so Tuesday from 11:00 AM until service time at the church.
