Carolyn,

I received E-mail from the SIU football office today. We are sorry to hear that Frank has passed away.
The note said the Frank coach in 1964-65 at SIU. Since my last playing season was 1963, I am trying to understand why I feel that Frank was on the staff my senior year. Also, Jackie and I were married in Carbondale on February 10, 1962 and I thought Frank was at SIU at that time. Of course being on the Illinois State football staff with Gerry Hart, I know we ran into each other at coaches meetings or recruiting trips in St. Louis.
I apologize for rambling on. I remember Frank as a very proud father, a man with extreme enthusiasm, energy, faith and love for his family.

You and your family are in our thoughts and prayers.
God Bless,
Jackie and Larry Wagner

So sorry to hear about Frank this morning. I will be thinking of you all, especially today. Ron and I just returned to town last night so we've been out of communication for a few days. We will be joining our prayers to yours in honor of him and asking the good Lord to hold you close.

Carolyn and family,
Please know that I am thinking of each and everyone of you. My heart is heavy and saddened to hear of Frank's passing. Our lives are truly better having him been a part of it. He was a 'great' man. I know that if your tears could build stairways and your memories could find pathways you would climb up to Heaven and bring Frank back, but you must be happy as God needed him and he is in a better place. All of us will be with him some day. I wish for all of you to have the strength to deal with the loss of your loved one and I pray that the pain of your loss will lessen as each day passes. Please find my love for your family encircled around you, find peace within your hearts and my hope for eternal life.
God didn't promise days without pain,
Laughter without sorrow or sun without rain,
But God did promise strength for the day-
Comfort for the tears & light for the way.
All who believe in his Kingdom above.
He answers their faith with everlasting love.
I send my prayers and blessings to your entire family and will continue to pray for your peace & comfort.
We do know that Frank is in Heaven and will watch over everyone he loved.
