GARY DEBLOIS Obituary

Gary Howard Deblois, of Daytona Beach, passed away May 3, 2010. He was born April 19, 1944 to Howard and Jane Deblois. Gary enjoyed daily walks on the beach, enjoying the sunrise over the water and keeping his life simple. He served in the Army and then worked 20 years at Florida Power and Light as a Lineman and other positions before retiring. He truly loved his grandchildren, sister, nieces and family; always willing to give of himself and asking nothing in return. A Memorial service will be held in West Burke Vermont on a later date. Gary is survived by one son, Mark G. Deblois of NC; one sister, Nancy (Harold) Dresser of Maine; two Grandchildren, Courtney and Amanda; two nieces, Barbara Dresser, and Joanne (Jeff) Myers. Arrangements are under the careful direction of Baggett and Summers Funeral Home. Condolences may be shared with the family at www.lohman funeralhomes.com

I am saddened by the loss of a wonderful man, He was a very spiritual man and a wonderful Father and loved his grand children. He never had a bad thing to say about anyone. Now he is in heaven with his mimi and Dad, and other family members. God bless you Gary and the family you left behind.

I haven't seen Gary in over 40 years, but he has never left my thoughts. When we were in high school we loved to sing songs by the Rolling Stones and Gary U.S. Bonds. We used to play bridge with Howard and Jane and seldom won. I will always miss him.

Gary was always a smiling face and a pleasure to work with. Though I haven't seen him in a long time, I will always remember his kind and thoughtful ways. My condolences.
