JOHN MELLO Obituary

- John Edward Mello, age 68, of DeLand, passed way after a long illness on November 3, 2010 in Orange City, FL. A funeral mass in his honor will be held Saturday, November 13, 2010; 2:00 PM at St. Peter Catholic Church, 421 W. New York Ave, DeLand. John was born in Providence, Rhode Island to John and Theresa Mello, he dedicated his life as the Owner / Operator of East Coast Auto Wholesale, for 30 years and Central Service in Rhode Island. He was a proud member of St. Peter Catholic Church, who enjoyed going to Las Vegas, and spending time at home. He was a quiet, reserved, man of conviction and will be missed by those who knew him. His parents and his feline companion, Molly, preceded him in death and he leaves behind to cherish his memory his beloved wife, Joan Mello; his three children, Rhonda (Tony) Frye, Charles Mello and Wendy (Ann) Mello, all of California; two sons by marriage, Richard, of Florida and Robert (Melissa) Brault, of Rhode Island; a sister, Judy Rebello; and five grandchildren.
