WILLIAM E. SMITH

William Elliott Smith, age 66, was born in April 26, 1944 in Tampa, FL to Herschel and Madeline Smith. William met his wife, Glenna, while stationed in New Mexico when serving in the United States Air Force. William and Glenna lived in Brandon, Florida for 30 years and were members of the First Baptist Church in Brandon. William was a graduate of Eastern New Mexico University. He was a college professor at Hillsborough Community College until his retirement in 2004. Those left to cherish his memory are his wife Glenna; one son, Brent (wife: Valerie) of Albuquerque, New Mexico; one brother, Bob Smith; and sister, Laura Tingle; and one brother-in-law, Glenn Ezell. Charitable contributions may be made to Halifax Hospice, in Port Orange. Arrangements are under the entrusted care of Cardwell Funeral Home.
