Ed Caputo was the best in the broadcast business and a super boss to work for. I think of him often.
My Deepest Sympathy to the Caputo family.

For more than 8 years I worked for Ed Caputo. Not only was he a great boss but a superb broadcaster. Anyone who knew Ed would agree. Every time I hear a Big Band song I automatically think of this wonderful person. Rest in Peace - Ed.

Kind, intellegent, and devoted as a person, and just as loving as a grandfather. He is in my heart forever.

I was one of the many GI's who worked
with and for Ed during my time in DC.
He was a real pro who encouraged us to
be creative on the air. It was a pleasure
to have known and worked with him. I
might also add the names of Jerry Clark
and Ralph Fick who have gone before and
worked with Ed in Army Broadcasting.
You will be remembered by all of us.

Americans would be proud to know that when Federal civilian employees are mentioned, Ed represented the finest example of dedication, professionalism and commitment of a Department of the Army public affairs practitioner. He was much appreciated and admired by all who knew him. Military broadcasters are proud to have counted him as a friend, and one of the best in our business. We will sorely miss his example and influence. We hope his family will always be comforted by the knowledge that Ed, a gentle, inspirational and giving person, was also admired by us all for his immense generosity and love of broadcasting.
