Laughter. Strength. Love. These are the qualities that I remember most when I think of Grandma Lil. If she was in the area, all you had to do was follow the sound of laughter to find her. She always had a wonderful sense of humor, even during times when it was difficult to smile. Her humor was contagious, and she always managed to have everyone around her laughing to the point of tears. Her strength of character was legendary. Anyone who knew grandma knew she was a fighter – even to the end. She was married to Grandpa Bud, after all :) Boy, were they in love! Speaking of love, her devotion to her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren was evident in everything she said and did, evident in the words her family spoke of her, evident in the many hugs and kisses they bestowed upon her (and received in turn), and the look on their faces when remembering her. I am so grateful for those memories of the times we shared – from her and grandpa's 50th Wedding Anniversary party, to my wedding, and the many, many phone conversations we had. Even though there were many miles between us, we always kept in touch. I miss those conversations, I miss her. I love you, grandma. You will forever be in my heart, until we meet again. Love always, Denise (and Paul, Kayla and Gracie)

my grandmother , my noodle....I will miss her ! she has gone to be with grandpa and the angels arrived early in the morning of the 28th as I sat with her hand to hand and I got to experience a beautiful thing when she was a few breathes away from passing and opened her eyes so wide and looked up to the light in the corner of the room and mumbled a few sounds which was followed by two tears from her beautiful golden glossy eyes. She was communicating with someone and it was breathe taking! I am blessed to have been a part of this moving experience! I love you my noodle forever and always,Michelle

My mother dedicated her whole life to her husband, her children, her grandchildren, and her great grandchildren. She gave us unconditional love and never asked for anything in return. There was not a selfish bone in her little body. She was tough and was the glue that held our family together. She kept us all in our place and taught us family values that will be passed on for generations to come. We will all miss her so much. She was the strongest woman I have ever known and she will be with me forever. She was always there for everyone and has left us all with many, many memories. We have been blessed to have the mother and father that we had. I miss her and dad so very much.

My grams was the light of my life. Words can not explain the relationship we shared. She was my everything. I will miss her terribly. Her humor, her unconditional love, her honesty, her big heart was what our family lived on. She took care of me when I was a child and then she took care of my child. She is finally reunited with the love of her life and I hope they are dancing and laughing and enjoying everything beautiful up above. She has longed to be back with my grandpa and now she is. I will love you always and forever and you will always have a place in my heart. I love you grandma <3

Debbie, Linda, Gloria, & Judy, I'm sending you and your family my deepest sympathy. I am so very sad to hear about the loss of your mom. She was such a wonderful woman. I will never forget that constant smile she always had on her face & her sense of humor. I never knew what she was going to say next. Your mom brought me so much joy the year and a half I worked at Ormond in the pines. My thoughts and prayers are with you all. Lillian will be greatly missed but never forgotten.

I have spent 11 years making up for lost time. Visiting my grandparents wasn't a chore for me it was something I looked forward to. Every week I was there with Sunflowers in hand. Every week she would smile and tell me how pretty they were and how she was so lucky to get fresh flowers every week.
I will miss her witty personality, her smile and telling me like it is. I loved her hugs and I loved her stories. I loved her calling me out on me joking around with her. I loved having lunch with her and Aunt Lorraine. I loved hearing stories of when my dad was a kid. Things I never heard before. I loved being by her side until the end. And I loved spending time with my Aunt Linda and Aunt Debbie when visiting with grandma. I loved that my grandpa made me promise to keep visiting grandma..i would have done it anyway but the promise helped. I love her way of always bringing the family together.

I love you grandma and I am so thankful for the time we spent together. They are memories I will Treasure forever. I will see you in the Garden!

we all loved nana but we always love her and never forget her. She's my favorite. I love you nana. She always walked me through everything and I loved her humor. I loved the way she would cheer me on and I always did good because of her. She used to say " Baby believe in yourself!" :)

I will miss my mom. I will miss the times she yelled, screamed, spanked and never could see it the way I did. All this for love. I will miss her humor which she has bestowed to me, I will miss her laugh. Her passing leaves a pain that cannot be healed, but leaves a memory that will last forever. I will forever think of her when I look at the night sky, that it is not stars I am looking at but rather holes where our loved ones went to heaven and send a shining light down to let us know they are happy.

I love you mom and I love the family you have left me with until I can come and hug you and dad once again.
