I think it is safe to say that everyone who knew Spence is shocked and saddened by this tragedy. Although we were not close, I enjoyed working with him. Spence was a wonderful colleague. He was outgoing, funny, trustworthy, and loyal. My thoughts and prayers are with all of you as deal with the loss of this good man.

I've only known Spence since his employment with the Auditor's office, but it seemed as if I'd been getting re-acquainted with an old friend! RIP

Spence was a truly special person in the lives of so many- was fortunate to have known him. I knew him as my big brothers best friend in high school, their friendship continued on throughout college and into their careers. He never treated me as the pesky little sister that I was . Always with respect and kindness. I will miss him and his infectious laugh that he always brought into the room.
My sincere sympathy goes out to his mother, sister and countless friends that he made on his lifes journey.

Kyle and I met Spence in 1992 and had the pleasure of working with him again over the years, in both the political realm and at Jordan Valley Community Health Clinic. He did amazing work for JVCHC. He was so creative and enthusiastic. I remember going to the Christmas party where he unveiled the new website and it was simply awesome. His warmth and wit were so engaging. He was a great professional strategist. He will be missed in so many ways. Our hearts go out to all of his family members and friends - you remain in our prayers.

I had the pleasure of meeting Spence at the age of 13 and a life long friend was made from that meeting. Spence is a one of a kind never spoke a bad word about anyone. You made great strides in your career and you have left a legacy to carry on. The world will never b the same with out you. You are gone but far from forgotten. Rip my friend.
