Douglas Rothert Obituary
Douglas Lee Rothert, born April 29, 1948, died in his home in Springfield, Missouri on May 30, 2012. We were at his side, holding his hands, and he went peacefully after several days of smiles and laughter, and surrounded by love. There are no words that can express what he has meant to us all. Doug never met a stranger, and never wasted time on regrets. He will be loved and cherished forever by his wife, Molly, his children Dennise and Orion, and the countless friends and family members whose lives are better for having known and loved him. Doug, we will love you forever, and we still feel you with us every day. Thank you for everything, always. As Doug wished it, there were no formal services planned, but the family held an informal, come as you are memorial shindig yesterday in the Rothert Family Home.

I offer my sympathy to Doug's family. Having worked with Doug for a couple of years now, he always looked at situations from the perspective of the glass being half full. He has left his positive impression on those around him. He will be missed, but lives on through all of us.
