James Forrest "Buster" Tindall

James Forrest "Buster" Tindall was born on 8/10/1932 in Anaconda Montana. Forrest passed away on 01/04/2016 at the age of 83 from a stroke. He spent some of his childhood in Chili South America and later graduated from PolyTech college in California with a BA in engineering. He retired from the U.S. Soil Conservation Service after 30yrs of service as a civil engineer. He married his wife Joann in Feb of 1962, she precedes him in death after 50yrs of devoted marriage. Also preceding him was his father Frank and mother Effa Tindall. He was survived by his brother Doug Tindall of New Mexico, Fiance' Marilyn Miller of Clever, daughter Monica Tindall, son Bruce and daughter-in-law April Tindall, granddaughters Breanna and Zya Tindall.

After the passing of his wife he was fortunate enough to find true love again with his fiance' Marilyn, with whom he enjoyed living life to the fullest. They worked passionately on finding forever homes for hard to place dogs.

Forrest had a passion for racing sports cars. He had road raced, ralleyed, autocrossed and dirt tracked from coast to coast for over 55 yrs and at the age of 83 was still racing and actively planning on many more yrs of competitive racing.

Forrest was affiliated with many different organizations. Some of which include the Sports Car Club of America, which he was a member of over 50yrs, Porsche Club of America, Corinthian Vintage Auto Racing, Vintage Sports Car Drivers Assoc., Greater Ozarks British Motoring Club, and the Vintage Auto Racing Assoc.

He raced at many prestigious tracks allover the country, some of which were Laguna Seca, Road America, Road Atalanta, Sears Point, Texas World Speedway, Candlestick Park, Mid America, Mid Ohio, Ponca City,Lake Granett, Gratten Michigan, Button Willow, Vaca Valley, Stocken, Fair Grounds, Bolivar Speedway, Monnett, and West Plains.

Forrest was kind, soft spoken, generous, trustworthy, loving, knowledgeable, and cherished by many. If you were lucky enough to have known him you will always smile when remembering him. He was the type of man that would inspire you to be a better person.

His Celebration of Live will be held at the 319 event center located at 319 W Walnut on the N.E. corner of Campbell and Walnut at 7pm on Sat Jan 16th. In lieu of flowers to pay tribute to Forrest, please go to Gofundme.com and donate to "Forrest's Dogs"
