Jon Aldridge Obituary

Jon Scott Aldridge

Jon Scott Aldridge, 59. died suddenly in his home, Thursday evening, January 19, 2012. He was an avid aviation enthusiast who helped found and was past president of EAA (Experimental Aircraft Association) Chapter 821), a member of the National Soaring Society, and helped restore aircraft at AMMO (Air and Military Museum of the Ozarks.) He was a former locomotive engineer for the Frisco Railroad and a 3M employee. His greatest love was music and he was an accomplished guitarist and a member of Kelswater, an Irish music band.

Jon is survived by his wife Paulletta, and his four children, Liesl, Sam, Sky, and Owen and one brother, David Aldridge, and one sister, Barbara Dowdy. His funeral will be at St. John's Episcopal Church, Springfield, Missouri, on Thursday, January 26, 2012, at 11am and his remains will be interred in the Memorial Garden located there. Arrangements are by Gorman-Scharpf Funeral Home

To the Aldridge family. You have my prayers of peace and my sincere condolences. Pauletta I worked with Jon at Frisco and BNRR Diesel Shop. To the present at 3M. We both wore too much cologne. I thought a lot of Jon, we both going through some of the same things in life. He will be missed..
