James David "Buddy" Faucett

James David 'Buddy" Faucett, age 60, passed away April 28, 2013 in his home in Pensacola, FL. David was born April 30, 1952 to James and Leta Mae Faucett in Springfield, Mo.

David lived in Pensacola for over 20 years. He enjoyed working at Hitachi Cable for 15 years in the maintenance Department. His neighbors said David was often seen working in his yard planting and maintaining his many beautiful flowers. He got great pleasure raising and caring for his two Boxers, Beau and Ginger. His helpful personality and warm friendly smile will be greatly missed by many friends and neighbors in Florida, and many family members.

David was preceded in death by his mother, Leta Mae Faucett; his father, James Carroll Faucett; and a brother, Charles Carroll Faucett.

He is survived by four sisters: Lynda Youngblood and husband Don Youngblood of Columbiana, Ala., Gwyn Herndon, of Springfield, Mo., Frances Duermeyer and husband Ken Duermeyer, of Springfield, Mo., Nina Meads and husband Mike Meads of Springfield, Mo. There is also eight nieces and nephews, and numerous family and friends.

Memorial Services will be held Sunday, June 2, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. in Wesley United Methodist Church. Visitation and refreshments will follow.

So sorry to hear of David's passing. I worked with him for several years at Solid State. David was a witty, funny man with a generous, caring spirit.
