I was so saddened to learn of the passing of Mr. Terry Hover. He was my first-grade teacher at Bingham Elementary School, and I'll never forget his patience, and encouraging smile. It seems like it was his first year teaching too, and he made such a positive impact on me. He taught me not only reading and writing, but also valuable life lessons about kindness and respect. I will always be grateful for his influence. I would have pleasant thoughts of him from time to time, my most recent thought was to Google him, and I was shocked to see he had passed. My deepest condolences to his wife and children." As you all know so well, Terry will be greatly missed!

I had known Terry for many, many years. We always enjoyed our short visits and the possibility that we might find time to meet for breakfast sometime. Terry was a real Christian gentleman, always.
I am saddened by the loss of Terry, please accept my condolences.

Terry Hover has always held a special place in my heart! In 1992, my oldest daughter was a VERY active 1st grader who God placed in Mr. Hover's classroom. He was instrumental in helping us get her medical help and with his patient, soft spoken manner she had a GREAT start in school. Today she is happily married with a Bachelors and Masters Degrees and working as a CPA in Jefferson City. Not only was he a special educator but a special person. We have lost a very special man on earth but heaven has gained a beautiful soul. Thank you Terry and we will see you in heaven!

My youngest daughter was privilledged to have Mr. Hover for a first grade teacher in 1986. What a wonderful influence he was on those young students. We remember him fondly for his dedication. He will always hold a special place in our hearts.
