Richard Alling Obituary

Richard Bryan Alling

Richard Bryan Alling, age 54, of Ozark, Mo, passed away Tuesday, June 12 after a long battle with cancer. Rick was born on April 1, 1958 in Pasadena, California to Robert Marshall and Virginia Bernadine Alling. Rick graduated in 1986 from Cal State Long Beach with a Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Technology-Construction Technology. After a successful career in California, he moved the family to Missouri in 2002 to work on the Branson Landing. Most recently, he was employed by DeWitt Associates and worked on several projects in the community. He loved his family, being a husband and father, his friends and his DeWitt family and appreciated their support during his four year battle with cancer.

He is preceded in death by his daughter Rachelle Bryn Alling; and his parents.

He is survived by his wife, Alesia; son Derrick Bryton; brother and sister-in-law David and Carla Alling; and nephew Michael Alling. Rick had hundreds of friends who will miss him dearly.

Visitation will be held at Barnes Funeral Home in Ozark, Saturday, June 16 at 1 p.m. , followed by a celebration of his life at 2 p.m. Memorial contributions to the Alling family can be made at any Liberty Bank location.

I am so sorry to hear about Richard. I don't know if you remember me but I worked at CHC at fro t desk. I just loved giving him a hard time. He was such a outstanding man.
