Richard LaFollette

Richard "Rick" Junior LaFollette, age 61, of Strafford passed away suddenly April 30, 2015. He was born October 19, 1953 in Springfield, Missouri to Amos and Betty LaFollette. Rick was married to Carol Gutierrez August 25, 1984 and to this union two children were born. Rick loved to ride motorcycles and traveling. He was a very loving man and would do anything for anyone. He worked for Goodyear in Springfield for 27 years.

Rick was preceded in death by his father, Amos LaFollette.

He is survived by his wife Carol of the home, his children April Barnett, Alicia Wallace and husband Eric; grandchildren, Dakota Trogdon, Christopher and Arabella Barnett and his "Little Man" Waylon Wallace; mother, Betty Weatherford; brothers Larry LaFollette and wife Stephanie, Gary LaFollette and wife Tonya, sisters Mary Ricci and husband David, Marla Destefano and husband Michael; nieces and nephews; other relatives and many friends.

A graveside memorial will be held 2:00 PM, Wednesday, May 6, 2015 at Missouri Veterans Cemetery with full Military Honors. The family will be holding a Celebration of Life at their home from 5-7 after the service. Online condolences may be made at www.holdenfunerals.com.

So sorry to hear that.I grew up with Ricky.Almost neighbors.We were afamily redheads also.The Nashs from 2459 E.Cherry.Many times.especially I've wondered about Ricky ,Larry,Gary.Mary ,and Marla.Condolences.from Sue and Sherry.
