Curtis and Doug, we are extremely sorry for your loss. Being the youngest of five, it was sad Vernon watched the first four pass away. It is strange that the oldest (Freddie) and youngest were the last two to be called by God; within a year and a half of each other. I will always be thankful that he was into ancestry and kept the family reunions an ongoing ritual.

Doug, I am sadden to hear of the passing of Floyd. He touched the hearts of so many people through his journey here on earth. Mine for sure. I will always hold dearly the memories of the times he would come to JC and stop by my office to visit, the jokes and tricks he played on me. He loved his family and friends and we all loved him. May you find comfort knowing he is with his Lord and in the many special memories you and your family have of him. God bless you and your family in this very sad time.
