LAWRENCE KEARNES Obituary
FEBRUARY 18, 2011
Lawrence Calvin Kearnes, Jr., 62 of North Fort Myers, FL and Bracey, Virginia passed away on Friday, February 18, 2011. He was born on August 14, 1948 in Alexandria, Virginia to Lawrence and Iva Lee Kearnes. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army. He enjoyed fishing, boating and according to his family was always involved in many projects, building various items.
He is survived by his loving family including his fianc?e, Kathi Morris; sons, Lawrence (Amy) Kearnes, III, Robert Kearnes; daughter, Lori Kearnes all of Cape Coral; seven grandchildren, Casey, Brooke, Samantha, Dallas, Melinda, Katie, Zach; brother, Kevin Kearnes; sisters, Trish Griese and Laura Saville.
Memorial Services will be at 3 pm on Friday, February 25th at Coral Ridge Funeral Home, 1630 SW Pine Island Rd., Cape Coral. Please visit www.coralridgefuneralhome.com to share in his life story and leave thoughts and memories for his family.

I miss you Dad. I wish I could pick up the phone and tell you I love you or have you over for dinner. I cant tell you how many times i've needed fatherly advice and started to pick up the phone to call you. I miss hearing "Hey son, it's dad........" on my voicemail. Selfishly, I just wish we had more time. The good news is you arent suffering any longer and you reunited with your parents and grandparents just as you and I will one day.
