Hello,
We would like to express our deepest condolences and also let the Jardas Family know that we recently made a small donation to Luke's Wings in honor of Thomas Tommy Joseph Jardas US Marine Corporal. We recognize that this is a humble tribute, but we wanted you to know that it is heartfelt and made possible by thousands of like-minded individuals in the youth hockey community and beyond. We will not forget. May God Bless you and keep you strong.

I didn't have the honor of meeting Tommy, but he was my son's (Kurt Bokern) roommate for a year in Pensacola and I did hear a lot about him. They had many good times together. When I heard about the accident, my heart broke for you. I couldn't help but think that it could have been my son and then I realized, they all are our sons. I am so very sorry for your loss.

February 2, 2016

Our deepest gratitude goes to Corporal Jardas for his sacrifice to our country. As we extend our sympathy to his family and friends, be comforted in knowing he has joined the ranks of others through our nation's history who were willing to give their all so that others may know freedom.

Dear Jardas Family My deepest sympathy, once again, you don't know me; I attended Tommy's service, as I live in the park beside the church; I am from Toronto; wanted to represent our country; making his funeral an international one; we care lots; may his life stories sustain you by sharing them with us; a strong young man; in fact, all those who were lost with him are looking down on us, stilling doing their job of looking after us, especially you, his family; feel their smiles and memories thru the stars, the wind and the rain; hugs, Gail Blain, (Canada) What a beautiful send off for your beloved loved one, Tommy.

Tim,
My deepest sympathy for the loss of your son Tommy. If I may honor your son with this comment: Here rests in honored glory a United States Marine - A Veteran, known but to his family, his friends, his comrades and God. Thank you for your service. May you rest in peace. Anything you need Tim you know how to reach us in Rochester at Holy Cross or Aquinas.

It's okay to grieve ... you loved him.

I do not personally know you or your family but I wanted to thank you for being the family of a brave man who paid the ultimate sacrifice so that I and all the others who live in the United States of America might remain free and a light of hope for the rest of the world. Tommy left this earth far too young, but he lived his life as he wanted to and contributed more than more do who live to be elderly. He was serving his country, which was a choice made by him since he was in the Marines. He made a very noble and I'm sure difficult choice because those of us who have served and/or have loved ones who serve realize that our/their lives aren't ours any more they belong to the Corp. I am sure he felt much satisfaction and happiness and that he carried himself with pride because he was a United States Marine. God bless you as you struggle to accept what has happened to Tommy and that God's loving and compassionate arms will be felt around each and every one of you as you search for the peace you will receive. God bless.
