LOUIS J. RIESKE

August 19, 2012

Louis J. Rieske, born March 11, 1918 and died Aug. 19, 2012 after a long illness. He was preceded in death by his parents, Louis and Margaret Rieske, his first wife, Dorothy Rieske, sons, Kenneth and Glen Rieske, brothers, Harold and Earl Rieske and sisters Fairy Rodgers, Hazel Tompkins and Margaret Rodgers.

He leaves to cherish his memory a sister Violet Lamprecht, a brother, Gordon Rieske, his wife BJ Rieske, his daughter, Karen (Kenneth) Rooks, granddaughters, Shirley Garrett, Dorothy Crews, Pamela Woodby; grandsons, Kenneth Rooks, Jr., John Rooks, Karl Rieske and Kim Rieske; several great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held Sunday, Aug. 26, 2012 from 1-3 PM at Fort Myers Memorial Gardens Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held Monday at 11 AM in the funeral home.

My darling husband, love of my life!! I will miss you forever. You were the best thing that ever happened to me! I have memories to cherish of all the fun we had.
