Victoria, age 83, was welcomed into the kingdom of heaven as she passed peacefully in her sleep on the morning of January 9, 2015 in Ft. Myers, FL. Vickie was born in Baltimore, MD on June 24, 1931 to Stephen and Marie Zimnoch. She married her husband, James J. Collins, in Baltimore and shared a loving 52 years with him until his death in 2004. Vickie was a homemaker, a member of the Church of the Resurrection of Our Lord, and a champion member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the Knights of Columbus.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her sister Cornelia, and her brother, Steven. She is survived by her brothers Gabriel and George (Beverly), her children Kathleen Banas (Robert) of Spring Hill, FL, Glenn Collins (Lesia) of Ft. Myers, FL and Dave Collins of Powell, OH, her grandchildren Michael (Laura) and Matthew Banas of Philadelphia, PA and Andrew Collins of Ft. Myers, FL.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the Alvin A. Dubin Alzheimer's Resource Center in Fort Myers. Final arrangements are with Hodges-Kiser Funeral Home. A memorial service will be held at the Church of the Resurrection of Our Lord at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, January 16, 2015. The cremated ashes will be interred at the Church of the Resurrection of Our Lord Memory Garden after the service.
