Evangelist Adams Obituary
Evangelist Lizzie Kate Adams, 63, of 11332 East Gretna Road, Gretna, passed Saturday, Sept. 4, 2010, at Lynchburg General Hospital. Born March 6, 1947, in Halifax County, she was the daughter of the late Joseph Davis and Mrs. Kate Davis.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Fred and James Davis.
She was employed by Wendy's in Lynchburg and was one of the founders and member of Miracle Revival Fellowship Holiness Church, Long Island.
Evangelist Adams is survived by a son, Presley Adams, of Atlanta, Ga.; two sisters, Virginia Jennings (Joseph), of Lynchburg, and Betty Davis, of Greensboro, N.C.; a half-sister, Geraldine Gilbert, of Altavista; one brother, Ronnie Davis, of Lynchburg; five grandchildren, Karen, Kodie, Kiewaun, Karenitie and Kalianna; one great-granddaughter, Qushunta; her godmother, Jeannette Graves, of Hurt; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be conducted at 3 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 11, 2010, at Miracle Revival Fellowship Holiness Church with Bishop Baby Stokes officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. A viewing will be held from 4 to 7 p.m. Friday, Sept. 10, 2010, at Miller Funeral Home. The family is at the residence of her brother, Ronnie Davis, 147 Jubilee Drive, Lynchburg.
Miller Funeral Home, Gretna, is in charge of the arrangements.

I would like to send my prayers to to the whole family. Mrs.K was a wonderful woman and always had love in her heart for anyone she ever met, We work at wendy's together. I have known Mrs.K for like 7 or 8 years and it will not be the same without her. I will miss hearing Mrs.Rose, My heart goes out to the family and know that Mrs.K will be dearly missed

Dear Presley and Family
I wanted to write and tell you again how sorry I am for your loss. There are never the right words to express how deeply sad I am that you have to endure your loss. Grand Adams as she liked to be called, will be truly missed by everyone who knew her no matter where they crossed her path in life.
Mrs. Adams was a giver, never a taker. She was always there to help no matter how busy she was; no matter the time of day; and, never asking or needing anything in return.
Family like Grand Adams are few in life and it is with a heavy heart that I also grieve with your loss. She loved her family members and her Church family dearly. Especially you and her grandchildren.
Her friendship meant the world to me, and I couldn't have asked for a more genuine friend and mother than her. Memories of our times together regardless of where we where or what we were doing will be forever held dear to me. May your memories bring you comfort in the days ahead.
Your loss is also my loss, and I am here, at any time, to help you in any way I can. And to especially help our children to get through this. They love thier Grand Adams and will miss her deeply.

I am so sorry to hear about Mrs.K I work with her for the last 7 years at wendy's timberlake. she was a wonderful woman and she was set in her ways but everyone knew that was Mrs. K, I could still hear her saying Hey honey in that high pitch voice she do sometime,or she would be dancing and singing. My heart goes out to her and her family and know that Mrs.K was loved!!!

I am so sorry for your loss. I have known her for many years as a friend and insurance customer where I used to work. She always had a smile and a hug and made me feel so loved. I know she is in heaven today.
