LORENE BONDURANT Obituary

Lorene Cumbie Bondurant

Lorene Cumbie Bondurant, 84, of Lynchburg, passed away Wednesday, October 6, 2010. Born in Lynchburg on October 16, 1925, she was the daughter of the late Grover Cleveland Cumbie and Willie Kate Brown Cumbie. She had retired from Imperial Reading Company.

Lorene is survived by her children, Linda Bondurant O'Sullivan and husband Bill, and G. C. Bondurant and wife Sabrina. She is also survived by her seven grandchildren: Whitney Lacy-Sellers and husband Chip, Justin Lacy, Josh Bondurant and wife Jennifer, Jason Bondurant and wife Tamara, Jason Staton, Jennifer Allegra and husband Chris and Butch O'Sullivan; as well as seven great grandchildren.

A celebration of Lorene's life will be held 3:30 p.m. - 5:00 p.m., Sunday, October 17, 2010 at Heritage Funeral Service.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may take the form of contributions to the Odd Fellows Home, 600 Elmwood Avenue, Lynchburg, Virginia 24503.
