SAMUEL HEFFNER Obituary

Samuel "Sam" Isaac Heffner

Samuel "Sam" Isaac Heffner, 32, of Lynchburg and formerly Cyclone, PA, passed away Monday, October 25, 2010. He was the fiancee' of Kim R. Wiley.

Born February 15, 1978 in Bradford, PA, he was a son of Andrew T. and Gloria Lowry Heffner of Cyclone ,PA. Sam was an accounts receivable clerk with Lincare and a part time employee of Diuguid Funeral Service. He was a member of Bradford Assembly of God Church in PA. He proudly served in the U. S. Marine Corps for eight years and served on a missions trip to Kenya. He was a star football player at Smith Port High School and worked at Costa's Super Market for four years during high school. Sam especially enjoyed hunting and fishing.

In addition to his parents and finacee', he is survived by four brothers, Andrew T. Heffner, Jr., Stanley Heffner, Randy Heffner and Pete Heffner; one sister, Sarah Schaffer.

A celebration of Sam's life and faith will be held tonight at 7:00 PM at Diuguid Wigginton Road Chapel with Rev. Dan G. Mason and Rev. Michael Justice officiating. Burial will be in Farmers Valley , PA on Saturday.

In lieu of flowers, the family request that contributions be made to Diuguid Funeral Service , 811 Wiggington Rd., Lynchburg, VA 24502, to help with funeral expenses.
