Washington Dowling Jr

Washington Dowling Jr., age 72, of Keysville, died Dec. 3, 2010, in Richmond.

Survivors include his wife, Dorothy B. Dowling, of the home; one daughter, Kelly Dowling, three sons, Broderick Dowling, Sydney Dowling, and Octavia Dowling, sisters, Leila Grayson, Eloise (William) Harley, Lillie Mae (Donlee) Jones, Patricia (Carl) Logan, JoAnn Sanders, and Sheilia (Frank) Ashe; four brothers, John Lewis ( Martee) Dowling, Herbert ( Jessie) Dowling, Lesley Dowling, and Jimmy Dowling.

Funeral services will be held Friday, Dec. 10, 2010, at 2 p.m. at the Christian Tabernacle Baptist Church in Nathalie with interment in the church cemetery.

The family will receive friends on Thursday from 7 to 8 p.m. at the chapel of Jeffress Funeral Home And Cremation Service of Brookneal.
