CADY WELLS Obituary
Cady Ford Wells, 96, of Lynchburg, died Tuesday, Nov. 16, 2010, at Lynchburg General Hospital.
Born in Richmond, she was the daughter of the late John Henry Ford and the late Dora Milton Ford Smith. In addition to he parents, she was preceded in death by one sister, Claudia F. Allen and one son-in-law, Clarence Johnson.
Cady was a member of the Pentecostal Faith and a retired employee of the Leighton Heel Co. She was blessed with her loving family and friends.
She is survived by three daughters, Doris W. Johnson, Nancy Parrish and her husband, Willie and Gladys Daniel and her husband, James, all of Lynchburg; five grandchildren, Judy Perrow and her husband, Malcolm, Mike Parrish and his wife, Wanda, Violet Mason and her husband, Wendell, Dale Daniel and his wife, Melissa and David Johnson; eleven great grandchildren, William, Steven and Joseph Perrow, Angel and Joy Mason, Allen, Kathryn and Cheyanne Daniel, Nathan and Makalya Parrish and Jennifer Johnson and four great, great grandchildren.
A graveside service will be conducted at 11 a.m., Friday, Nov. 19, 2010, at Spring Hill Cemetery by the Reverend Wayne Hudson.
The family will receive friends from 7 to 8:30 p.m., tonight, Nov. 18, 2010, at Whitten Timberlake Chapel.
Her family sends a special "Thank You" to Susan Maupin of Team Nurse, the Lynchburg Rescue Squad, the Lynchburg General E.R. Dept. and the Lynchburg General Medical Intensive Care Unit.
