FLORENCE RICE Obituary
Florence Foster Rice, 95, of Lynchburg, passed away Friday, Nov. 12, 2010, at Heritage Green Assisted Living. She was the widow of Edward J. Rice.
A funeral service will be conducted Tuesday, Nov. 16, 2010, at 11 a.m. at Whitten Timberlake Chapel with Dr. Rob Colwell officiating. Burial will follow at Fort Hill Memorial Park. The family will receive friends on Monday, Nov. 15, 2010, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Whitten Timberlake Chapel.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Vinton Relay For Life, c/o The American Cancer Society, 2840 Electric Road, Suite 106, Roanoke, VA 24018.

Ann and Jimmy,
What a joy your Mother was to us. We enjoyed visiting her everytime we were up there. She was the sweetest lady we have ever met. Know that she is know at peace and with Mr. Rice. God Bless you all!
