Kent will be dearly missed by a lot of people. I will never forget our time on PCU as monitor techs, then my friendship thru the rescue squads, and my time as a Respiratory Therapist at LGH> Kent aleays had a smile, word of encouragement or just a hug to cheer you up.I know that he is in a much better place, no pain, no suffering. Rest in Peace my dear friend.

Kent, I came to see you tonight. There was a calm in the storm and I noticed a beautiful rainbow had emerged in the sky as I drove there. It was just you and me in the dimly lit room. Very peaceful. Said my goodbye and God Bless. When I came out of the funeral home, the sun was shining through the clouds. I will see you again someday, but will miss my farmtown facebook buddy until then. You were a great friend. One of the nicest people I have ever known.

Kent, you will be missed. It was great working with you. I enjoyed our talks, your humor, and insight. We always talked of knocking out the ED sign so no one else would come into the hospital that night. Nights at Transport won't be the same without your humor and friendship. You always welcomed me with a smile that I will never forget. I'm greatful for having know you as a friend. My prayers are with your family during this difficult time.

I worked with Kent on transport for years and we would always make that weekly stop to get our Cheese Wontons and Egg Drop Soup......even when I left Centra we stayed in contact through his almost daily funny emails then when the wonderful world of facebook came about Kent was right there always leaving comments and messaging me if I was online late at night. No matter what was the matter he always said "Come on and lets get those cheese wontons and Egg Drop soup, It always made you feel better".......nothing but wonderful memories of old Kent. That smile and giggle of his will stay in my memory forever! Gods got a good one now! Keep smiling Kent and we'll see you one day! Love ya!

My dear sweet friend, you will be missed. I am overwhelmed at your passing. I want your family to know what a dear sweet friend and co-worker you were to me. You always were there for me and you always had a smile or a joke to share! I apppreciate those mid-morning calls over the last 11 years to share some yummy recipe....often on those nights when otherwise there was no meal break!! Kent I know you are in heaven now and have no problems or worries and when my time comes...I KNOW you will meet me at the gate!! You will live in fond memories my friend......until we meet again Love Shelia Shoemake
