Dorothy A. Robertson

Dorothy A. "Robbie" Robertson, 85, of Madison Heights, passed away Friday, Dec. 24, 2010, at Lynchburg General Hospital. She was the devoted wife of Edward I. Robertson.

She was born in Stafford, Oct. 26, 1925. She retired after serving for over 30 years as a Pentecostal Holiness minister having founded two churches during her ministry.

One son, Ronald E. Robertson preceded her in death.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by two sons, Mike Robertson and his wife Sandra and Jerry Robertson all of Madison Heights; five grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.

A graveside service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 29, 2010, at the Robertson Family Cemetery in Nelson County.

The family will receive friends from 7 to 8 p.m. today at Whitten Monelison Chapel and at other times at the residence.

In lieu of flowers, the family request contributions be sent to assist with the financial needs of the family, C/O Sandra Robertson, 2322 Elon Road, Madison Heights, VA 24572.

Mrs. Robertson will always be in our heart & in our memories, as the wonderful person, that God created her to be. I will miss her so much. She has always been so good to my family. We loved her deeply. May God comfort your family through this difficult time.
