Judith Hunt Obituary

Judith C. Hunt

Judith Champagne Hunt, 78, born in Lynchburg, on July 15, 1933, died Wednesday, Oct. 27, 2010. She was the daughter of the late Maria Bohannon Morris and Walter Maurice Champagne.

She was the wife of Robert R. Hunt and is survived by her husband; daughter, Jill Hunt Mason; and two special grandsons, Jeremy Mason and Spencer Mason. Survivors also include two sisters, Mrs. Jean Chamberlin, of Yorktown, and Mrs. Patricia Seroko, of Madison Heights. Thanks also to a special friend, Barbara Garrison, and to Judy's loving aunts, cousins and nieces who have provided much support and love during these difficult times.

Judy was a devoted homemaker and took great pride in caring for her family. She was a member of Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, and the family requests those wishing to make memorial contributions consider Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, 1000 Langhorne Road, Lynchburg, VA 24503.

The family will receive friends from 7 to 8:30 p.m. today, Oct. 29, 2010, at Tharp Funeral Home, Lynchburg. A graveside funeral service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 30, 2010, at Fort Hill Memorial Park, with Pastor Dennis S. Roberts officiating.
