Robert Rhyne Obituary

Robert Lineberger Rhyne Sr.

Robert Lineberger Rhyne, Sr., 79, of Lynchburg died Friday Dec. 3, 2010. He was the loving husband of Joyce Danner Rhyne.

In addition to his wife, Robert is survived by his son, Robert L. Rhyne Jr. and wife, Wanda; a daughter, Deborah Bertalan; two grandsons, Colin Rhyne and Robert L. Rhyne, III; two granddaughters, Krissy Rhyne and Ryan, and Hannah Rhyne; a great granddaughter, Layla Anthony, and a special friend, Tina Morgan; all of Lynchburg.

He was preceeded in death by a son, Gary Neil Rhyne.

A memorial service for Robert will be held today, at 4 p.m., Dec. 7, 2010, in the chapel of Tharp Funeral Home, Lynchburg, officiated by the Rev. Maurice Coffey. The family will receive friends immediately following the service.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be sent to the Daily Bread, 721 Clay Street, Lynchburg, VA 24504.
