IRENE MITCHELL Obituary
Marlowe Mitchell
Irene Charlotte Marlowe Mitchell, 86, Bedford, died Tuesday, Nov. 30, 2010. Born May 30, 1924, in Rochester, New York a daughter of the late Edward Joseph Marlowe and Irene Rogers Marlowe. She was a communicant of Holy Name of Mary Catholic Church.
In addition to her parents, Irene was preceded in death by her husband, Ziny John Mitchell; a son, Michael John Parmenter; and one sister, Ruth E. Fess. She is survived by a son, James Jay Mitchell and wife, Janet; a daughter, Irene Carol Parmenter; five grandchildren, John, Tom, Autumn, Melissa and Audrey; and one great-grandchild, Jaden; and two sisters, Jeanette M. Barr and Marjorie J. Sturgis.
The family suggests planting a flower in remembrance of Irene.
A vigil for the deceased will be conducted at 11 a.m., Saturday, Dec. 11, 2010, in the Tharp Funeral Chapel with Father Salvador A¤onuevo officiating. To send condolences, please visit www.tharpfuneralhome.com. Arrangements by Tharp Funeral Home & Crematory, Bedford, 586-3443.
