Gloria Camm Obituary
On the wings of an angel, no more cancer, God, in His infinite wisdom, quietly called Gloria Edith Arlene "Bunnie" Camm to her eternal rest on Sunday, Oct. 3, 2010.
Gloria Camm was born April 12, 1941, to the late Arnetha Camm.
In addition to her mother, she was preceded in death by her grandmother, Irma Camm; grandfather, the Rev. James R. Camm Sr.; three uncles, James R. "Jim" Camm Jr., Leslie "Butch" Camm and the Rev. Melvin Camm; and her "mama," Ms. Artie Royal (wife of Jim).
She was a graduate of Dunbar High School (class of 1959) and a long-time employee of R.R. Donnelly and Sons.
She leaves to cherish her memory two sons, Anthony L. "Tony" Camm (Jacqui) and Amir T. Smith, both of Forest; four grandchildren, Anthony Breon Andrews (Stephanie), of Lynchburg, Rhia Nicole, Camille Catherine and Rocqui Khalil Camm, all of Forest; one great-granddaughter, Alaya Breanna Andrews; one uncle, Wilbert Camm (Lillian), of Newport News; three godchildren, Tonya Coles, Phillip Ford and Dominic Anderson, all of Lynchburg; one "best friend" Yayo Camm (dog); and a host of other relatives and friends.
A funeral service will be conducted at 1 p.m. Friday, Oct. 8, 2010, at Court Street Baptist Church, with the Rev. James Camm officiating and Minister Lemuel Yirmeyah as eulogist. Interment will be in the Forest Hill Burial Park. The family is receiving friends from 7 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 7, 2010, at Community Funeral Home. The cortege will assemble at the funeral home.

There is nothing she wouldn't do for people. She would give you the shirt off her back.
Such a caring, loving, sweet person who will be truly missed. There are countless GREAT things that can be said about Ms. Bunnie :) The most important is that she LOVED people, especially her children & grandchildren. To see all the unconditional love, sacrifice & dedication she put into raising her son's is amazing. She definitly was a good role model for all mom's to follow.It was always wonderful to see her when Jacqui & Camille was in my dance group, she always had a smile & short story to tell...I could go on forever.....I LOVE HER & WILL MISS HER....You have lost a Jewell but thank GOD no more pain...We will see her smiling face again when our journey comes to an end.
