Anthony DaVore Miles Anthony DaVore Miles (lovingly called Tone Tone) was born July 30, 1982 abroad in Naples, Italy to Ms. Letty P. Miles and the late Mr. Cortez DaVore. Anthony was a military child and has lived in various places such as Naples, Italy; Azores, Portugal; Guantanamo Bay, Cuba; Orange Park, Florida and the Washington DC metropolitan area. He has traveled to Rome, Italy; Germany, Nova Scotia, Canada and the Bahamas. He attended South Lakes High School in Reston, Virginia and was currently enrolled in the Art Institute of Washington, where he majored in Audio Production.

An accomplished musician with a passion for music, Anthony was known as "Chrome" in the music arena. He was a member of the local group "703 FAM" of RIP DAT Productions and his music is featured on most of their CDs.

A loving son, devoted father and loyal friend, Anthony will be sorely missed. Anthony was an easy-going, soft-spoken young man. He was very loyal to family and friends. He was never judgmental and he gave everyone the benefit of doubt. His unforgettable hazel eyes and wide friendly smile could brighten up the gloomiest day.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Mr. Johnnie Lee Miles and Ms. Lucretia Grace Miles; and his father, Mr. Cortez DaVore. Anthony is survived by his mother, Letty Miles, one son, Azarrio Gustavos Jonus Queen, his fiance, LaToya Cumberbatch, who is expecing a son in April, Anthony DeVore Miles, Jr., his aunts Sadie (Mungro) Dillard, Diane Miles, Kathy Miles, Linda Miles, Teresa Teague,and Pamala Miles; uncles Marc Teague and Johnnie Lee Miles, Jr., 14 first cousins, 23 2nd cousins along with a host of other family members and friends and colleagues.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, February 19th, 2011 at 12 noon at the Baker-Post Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 10001 Nokesville Road, Manassas, VA. Interment will follow at Buckhall Cemetery, Manassas, VA.

Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of your choice.

I don't know Anthony as well as some but I do know he will be missed by his family and friends and especially by his finance Latoya. She has talked to me about him so much and I too have seen that beautiful smile and his gentle nature. May God be with each and everyone of you in the family and especially to you Latoya.
