"Chuck"
Dennis L. McCarty, Jr. Dennis L. "Chuck" McCarty, Jr., age 39, of Manassas, died December 27th, 2010 at INOVA Fairfax Hospital.
Born June 7th, 1971 in Manassas, he was the son of the late Dennis L. "Dinky" McCarty, Sr. and Arlene B. Cooke McCarty. He graduated from Osbourn Park High School in 1989 and was a hairdresser in Fairfax and Centreville for over 21 years.
Surviving besides his mother, Arlene McCarty of Manassas, is one sister, Cindy McCarty Hicks and her husband Greg of Fredericksburg; one niece, Olivia Hicks; several aunts, uncles, and cousins; and special friends, Greg Maurer of Falls Church, Jennifer Reed of Centreville, and Denise Viveiros of Manassas.
The family will receive friends on Saturday, January 8th, 2011 from 2 to 5 p.m. at the Baker-Post Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 10001 Nokesville Road, Manassas, VA 20110. The family welcomes those in attendance to dress casually in honor of Chuck.
Interment will be private and will take place at a later date.
Flowers will be graciously accepted, however, the family requests that those who are able to do so, please donate blood to your local American Red Cross Chapter. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Baker-Post Funeral Home & Cremation Center under the direction of Michael Post. Please sign the guestbook at www.bakerpostfh.com.

Dennis was always a bright spot in my day. His humor was witty, and he never missed a thing that you said...or meant! I am saddened to see this wonderful person gone.
