Catherine Ewins Obituary
She was the widow of George Arthur Ewins. She was a graduate of the Malden Hospital School of Nursing. Mrs. Ewins devoted her life to her family and was the loving mother to George A. Ewins, Jr. and his wife, Eileen, of Dumfries, Va. She is also survived by her sister, Mary Gaffey of Malden, Mass. Mrs. Ewins was born September 18, 1919 in Medford, Mass., a daughter of the late John Carroll Donoghue and the late Catherine Irene Lynch.
A funeral service will be conducted 10 a.m. Friday, September 17, 2010 at the Beals-Geak & Magliozzi Funeral Home Chapel, 29 Governors Avenue, Medford, Mass. The family will receive friends at the funeral home 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday, September 16, 2010. Interment will follow the service in Oak Grove Cemetery. Mountcastle-Turch Life Celebration Home, 4143 Dale Boulevard, Dale City, Va. is in charge of local arrangements.
