Herbert Hughes Terry Herbert Hughes Terry, age 45, of Manassas, Virginia died Sunday, September 5, 2010 at his residence.

Herbert was born October 31, 1964 in Falls Church, Virginia, son of Noel B. Terry, Sr. and Dorothy Marie (Hughes) Terry of Ridgeway, Virginia. He attended Liberty University. He enjoyed observing politics, traveling and loved his family.

He is also survived by his life partner, Mark Eshenour of Manassas, Virginia; one sister, Deborah Terry Durant and husband David of Landenberg, Pennsy-lvania; one brother, Noel B. Terry, Jr. of San Antonio, Texas and beloved extended family including his loved cat, PeeWee.

Funeral services will be held 1 p.m. Saturday, September 11, 2010 at Old Bridge United Methodist Church, 3966 Old Bridge Road, Woodbridge, Virginia with Pastor Burton Robinson officiating. . Family visitation will begin at 12 Noon. Childcare will be provided. He will be laid to rest in the Hughes Family Cemetery, Stuart, Virginia on Tuesday, September 14, 2010.

Expressions of sympathy may take the form of flowers, or contributions to Capital Hospice, 10530 Linden Lake Plaza, Suite 200, Manassas, Virginia 20109-6434 in loving memory of Herbert Hughes Terry. Condolences may be sent to www.piercefh.com.

We miss Herb so much; he was truly a special person; always a gentleman, always kind, compassionate and thoughtful of others. We will never forget him!

Herb will be missed by all whose lives he touched along the way and that certainly was many, including ours. He was always caring, thoughtful and we loved him dearly. He taught all of us some valuable lessons before God took him to heaven to be with him.
