Steve ... I was Dr. Parisi's patient quite a number of years ago. I was just telling a friend about how lucky and blessed I was to get him, after an auto accident. ..and then this morning here is a notice in my email of a posting on his guest book. Serendipity.
He was a dear, sweet, person and a really good doctor, and no doubt missed , and often remembered, by so many whose lives he touched.

Dad, not a day goes by that I don't think about you. I talk to Nicholas and Maxwell about you all the time and remind them how much "Poppy" loved them. I love and miss you.

Just heard the news. Still in shock. Noticed that none of the other entries alluded to the fact that Dr. Ralph was absolutely hysterical. Told me a story once of how he ruptured his plantaris tendon. Nearly wet my pants. You and your sense of humor will be forever missed Dr. Ralph...

I only found out today that the Doctor with the smile on his face everytime I saw him is no longer here! My family and I spent the last 20 years seeing Dr. Parisi, not only because he was an amazing doctor but because he was an amazing person! We will miss him more than words can say. Rest in Peace Dr. Parisi and may your family find comfort from our Lord Jesus!

I have never met a man whom I admired as much as Dr. Parisi. He treated me several times and also attended my "Weekend at Bernie's" fund-raising golf weekend in the Catskills. I was honored to have him and Dr. DeCicco attend and provide so many laughs! My wife and I will truly, truly miss him. Bernie Doherty

Many years ago I was lucky enough to work in the emergency department with Dr. Parisi. He was dedicated to his patients, and a consciencious physician. I was so sorry to hear of your passing. I can still see your wonderful smile. Rest well, Dr. Parisi. Godspeed.

Our thoughts and prayers are with the entire Parisi family. Ralph was definitely one of a kind. A fabulous doctor and a wonderful kindhearted person, he came into Plainview Hospital many years ago in a bad snow storm to set my broken hand and wrist, and didn't charge me because he knew me. His generosity and kindness got all of my family to start going to him. When I read about his passing in Newsday today, it was like someone knocked the wind out of me. We all love you Ralph, and we will keep you in our thoughts and prayers. Rest in peace. You will always be #1.

Not only a healer, but a man of dignity whose visions and sage advice were responsible for the successes of too many to count. Family, friends, and community were inspired to levels unachievable without his touch.

I grew up being asked if I was related to the infamous Dr. Ralph Parisi. I never knew who he was until I had the privilege to work for him. I was not related, only shared the last name, but he made me feel like one of the family. He was one of the best people I have ever known. I will miss you but will never forget you. My love and sympathy goes out to Adrienne, Thomas, Matthew and the rest of the family. All my love.
