I think of Dan and Marie often, I heard the news subsequent to his passing. Marie and my mom Peggy McNulty-Moran-Maher were cousins. We spent many holidays together. Dan and I were both Manhattan College and NYU alumni. My family speak of him and Marie often.

We are just hearing that our sweet "Uncle Dan" has passed away. We will always remember his hearty laugh, our visits to NY, and his visits to Florida with our Aunt Marie. Uncle Dan was always a welcome addition to any gathering he attended. We enjoyed his company, his wit, and his kind spirit. When we visited NY, he was generous with his time and helped familiarize us with much of our family history which originated in NY. He was a pleasure to know and love. May God rest his soul. Love, niece Kathy McNulty Webb and family (Alan Sr, Alan Jr., Katie and great grand-niece, Charlotte.) Condolences as well from the cousins in Florida.

My sincerest sorrow & prayers to the family & friends at the passing of Daniel. Daniel was one of the nicest gentlemen you could ever meet. He always had that bright smile and a greeting when attending Mass at St. Kevin. I will always remember him for his kindness and concern for people. It was a pleasure to have met him. God rest his soul.

The Manhattan College alumni community shares the grief, and is now praying for our fellow alumni and the family at this time. The Alumni Office has been informed. As well as the Jasper Jottings community that I personally can reach. We are all a little poorer now. "No man is an island, entire of itself ... any mans death diminishes me". We are sorry for your loss.
