A message to George who I am sure is at home in Heaven with the Mother you loved so much. I miss you George. I miss our chats at work. I miss your happy greetings whenever we passed each other in the hall. I miss your funny stories and your unique laughter. Most of all I miss those times you'd sit at my desk snacking on chocolate bars and cookies while discussing the transmission and distribution system and how it was built not to mention all the stories associated with your work. You are some kind of guy George. Your one of a kind, no one can ever replace you. I can only pray you've found your peace and your Mom who you spoke of in such loving memory. I know someday I'll see you again under much happier circumstances. There in Heaven the snacks will be better (no weight gain) and we will have lots of time to discuss the T&D System as well as the myriad of other subjects you knew so well. I venture to guess the angels are getting an earful on how to correct the T&D System in Heaven. I'm sure when I go home there will be lots of new stories about how you've improved the electric/gas services. Until we meet again go with the Lord George.

I am so sorry for the loss of your loved one. Please find peace and comfort in Psalms 65:2.

The Manhattan College alumni community shares the grief, and is now praying for our fellow alumni and the family at this time. The Alumni Office has been informed. As well as the Jasper Jottings community that I personally can reach. We are all a little poorer now. "No man is an island, entire of itself ... any man's death diminishes me". We are sorry for your loss.
